Former Gamecock Bruce Ellington signs with new team
HOUSTON, TX (WOLO) — Just one week after being waived by the New York Jets for failing a physical, former Gamecock Bruce Ellington is signing with another team.
According to the Houston Texans, the organization is signing Ellington, who was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in 2014.

Ellington tore his hamstring last year and didn’t play a game in 2016. He’s already tasked with staying healthy, but now he’ll have to make Houston’s 53-man roster.
