Deputies: Man Shot, Wrecked Truck…Now Facing Charges
Lexington Co., S.C. (WOLO)–Lexington County deputies say a man who was shot in self-defense is now facing multiple charges.
Investigators say Sunday morning Mark Day was shot after threatening three people with a pressure-washer wand at a home on Miller’s Branch Rd. in Chapin.
Deputies say Day was eventually shot and as he walked down the road bleeding, two passers by stopped to ask if he needed assistance.
That’s when investigators say he pushed the driver out of the car and punched the passenger in the face before pulling her out of the truck.
Deputies say he then drove the stolen truck until he crashed on Westwoods Dr.
