Suspect Named in Upstate Grocery Store Murder

SPARTANBURG, SC (WOLO) – Spartanburg Police have named a suspect in a deadly shootout in a grocery store parking lot.

Investigators say Gettis Chambers shot and killed Tyshann Smith on August seventh in front of Biggerstaff Grocery.

According to authorities, during the same incident Smith shot and killed Raymond Turner.

Investigators are also searching for two other men who were seen in surveillance images shortly after the shooting.
