COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) – The Salvation Army of the Midlands is distributing new clothes, school supplies, shoes and backpacks to 200 kids.
Clothes for Kids is an annual back-to-school program that provides children with the clothes and supplies they need to start the school year off.
Parents and children that already registered for the Clothes for Kids program will visit the Salvation Army Center for Worship and Service on Sunday August 20 from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. to pick up the back-to-school items.
There will also be a dunking booth, obstacle course, and food for the families.
Innersole, USC Head Women’s Basketball Coach Dawn Staley’s charity, will be providing new shoes to the children.
Innersole has provided new shoes for the Clothes for Kids program for the last 5 years.
