Third Employ SC Job Fair Scheduled for VC Summer Workers

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)– The men and women laid off in the VC Summer construction shut down have another chance to find a new job.
Thursday the governor’s office announced an additional Employ SC job fair.
This one will take place August 24th at the Carolina Event Center in Winnsboro.
Two previous Employ SC job fairs drew hundreds to Chapin and the Columbia Convention Center.
Earlier this month thousands were laid off when Santee Cooper and SCE&G decided to abandon construction on two new nuclear reactors.
