Watch: Deshaun Watson Milly Rocks after TD run against Patriots
HOUSTON (WOLO) – For the second-straight week in preseason play, Deshaun Watson scored a rushing touchdown.
The 12th overall pick of the Texans made his home-debut in Houston colors, backing up Tom Savage on the way to a 27-23 win over New England Saturday night.
The Clemson alum only completed three of 10 passes on the night, but led the squad with 102 yards in the air, 33 coming on a completion to newly acquired former Gamecock Bruce Ellington in the second quarter. That drive led to a Texans field goal.
Watson was back in the end zone himself with 4:12 left in the third quarter, running for a two yard touchdown before celebrating in style.
Watson ran four times for 10 yards against the defending Super Bowl champions.
Deshaun scored his first touchdown at the NFL level on August 9 in Charlotte, running in from 15 yards against Carolina in a 27-17 loss to the Panthers.
