Johnson and Johnson Lawsuit

Los Angeles, CA (WOLO) — Johnson & Johnson has been ordered to pay 417-million dollars in a talcum powder lawsuit in California.

Monday, a jury sided with 63-year-old Eva Echeverria, who developed Ovarian Cancer after using Johnson & Johnson baby powder for decades.

Echeverria said she used the powder as a regular part of her feminine hygiene routine since she was 11-years-old.
She testified that had there been a warning label on the product, she would have stopped using it.

The company has no legal obligation to put such a label on its product.
