COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) – Wednesday (8/23), The South Carolina HIV AIDS Council unveiled a permanent tribute to one of its greatest champions.

The Council’s building on Laurel Street in downtown Columbia was renamed the Joseph H. Neal Wellness Center after the late Richland County Representative.

Neal’s sister says it is something he would have been very proud of.

Representative Neal passed away unexpectedly February 14th.
