COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Year two of the Jake Bentley term begins Saturday against NC State.

Bentley played in 7 games as a true freshman quarterback for the Gamecocks in 2016 and boosted USC’s average points per game from 14 to just over 26.

Just like any quarterback in the same system for two years, the second time through a schedule comes with an expanded role.

Click the video to hear from Bentley, offensive coordinator Kurt Roper and Will Muschamp on the QB’s expanded skillset.
