Richland Co Deputies Collect $15k+ in Gift Cards for Harvey First Responders

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) – The Richland County Sheriff’s Department and deputies from the A&E series LivePD did their part to aid the recovery effort Thursday (8/31) afternoon.

The deputies collected gift cards that will be sent to the Harris County Texas Sheriff’s Department.

Deputies say it is a small gesture that will go a long way.

According to the Richland County Sheriff’s Department’s Twitter page, donations reached more than $15,000.
