Veteran-Owned Small Business Expanding Operations in Charleston County

CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – A veteran-owned small business is expanding operations in Charleston County.

With the $2.9 million investment, Mission Solutions Group said it will be hiring for 41 new jobs.

β€œThere’s no state in the country that supports our armed forces as strongly as South Carolina does, and we couldn’t be more excited to see that Mission Solutions Group has found success here,” said Gov. Henry McMaster. “We’re proud to have a veteran-owned company like this one doing business in Charleston County.”

Established in 2015, the privately-held operation is a family of premier companies that provides communications, cyber-security and sustainment verticals support to the U.S. military. Mission Solutions currently manages four businesses:Β Marshall Communications Corp., a satellite communications and IT sales business; Sidecar Enterprises, Inc., a spare parts and logistics business; BlueJay Products, a diesel exhaust fluid manufacturer; and, Morgan-6, a software services provider.

The company said it will install its corporate headquarters at 6655 Jet Park Dr. in North Charleston, which will centralize all its operations in the Lowcountry.

β€œIt is a terrific location with a tremendous amount to offer and will play a key role in enhancing our ability to attract and retain critical talent, avail ourselves of the service and capabilities in the area and network with other defense contractors that are all over the Lowcountry,” said Damon Walsh, the co-founder and CEO of Mission Solutions Group.
