Gamecocks still not ready to name starting kicker

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Will Duchamp announced Thursday night during Carolina Calls  he’s still not ready to name a starting kicker for the Gamecocks, even with the season starting Saturday.

The position battle continues between projected starter Alex Woznick and freshman Parker White, out of Wando High School.

Woznick was listed as the starter in the spring and summer, but went 3/6 in the Garnet and Black game.

the Gamecocks face the NC State Wolfpack Saturday at 3 p.m.
