Will Muschamp watches Spring Valley, Tindall top RNE

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – On the eve of the Gamecocks season opener against NC State in Charlotte, Will Muschamp was out on the recruiting trail, on the sidelines at Harry Parone Stadium, watching Spring Valley (3-0) handle Richland Northeast (1-2) 45-7.

Vikings senior four-star linebacker Channing Tindall is a Gamecocks target and the ninth-best outside linebacker in the Class of 2018 according to ESPN’s rankings. He and his defense kept the Cavaliers out of the end zone all but once all night.

RNE faces Lower Richaland next week while Spring Valley hosts fellow unbeaten Sumter.
