Columbia police investigate late night shooting

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Columbia Police are investigating a late night shooting in a Columbia neighborhood.

Police say a 13-year-old boy was shot in the lower body at the 1500 block of Ashley Street last night.

At last check, the teen was listed in stable condition at a local hospital for his non-life threatening.

Officers continue to verify information provided regarding the shooting that’s believed to be an isolated incident.
