“Cops On The Coop”: Support Special Olympics South Carolina
LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – If you see some Lexington Police Department officers on your next trip to Chick-fil-A, don’t worry – they’re raising money Wednesday through Friday for Special Olympics South Carolina.
From 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day, officers will be stationed in the store and the drive thru lane at the Saluda Pointe Chick-fil-A, collecting donations of cash, check and credit card. Depending on how much you give, Chick-fil-A will give you a complimentary treat or sandwich card to be used at a later date.
All the money collected will be given to the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics, which supports the more than 25,000 Special Olympics athletes in S.C.
Chick-fil-A Saluda Pointe is located at 4295 Sunset Blvd.
