NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WOLO) – Lexington lost their week three showdown featuring unbeaten teams, dropping to North Augusta 40-14.

The Wildcats had gone a perfect 3-0 in their first season under new head coach Perry Woolbright after victories over West Florence, A.C. Flora, and Brookland-Cayce.

The Yellow Jackets improve to 3-0 on the young campaign.

Lexington returns to action against tough competition next week, hosting another unbeaten program, 4-0 Spring Valley.
