Clemson defenders earn ACC honors
(WOLO) – Austin Bryant and Dorian O’Daniel each earned earned ACC weekly honors Monday following the impressive defensive effort that led to 11 sacks in Clemson’s 14-6 win over Auburn.
Bryant was named the conference’s defensive lineman of the week after he racked up four of those sacks on Jarrett Stidham Saturday night in Death Valley, tying a school record. He had seven tackles in total. Bryant was also named National Defensive Player of the week by the Walter Camp Foundation following week two.
Dorian O’Daniel has a career and game-high 14 tackles against the opposing Tigers, two coming for a loss, adding 1.5 sacks for a Clemson defense that gave up just 117 total yards. He was honored by the Atlantic Coast as their Linebacker of the Week.
