City of Columbia Employee Killed Responding to TS Irma
Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)–Columbia City Manager Teresa Wilson announced Tuesday that Assistant Superintendent Arthur D. Strudwick was killed in an accident while responding to a downed tree during the height of Tropical Storm Irma Monday.
Wilson says, Sturdwick was an employee with the city’s Forestry and Beautification Division and served the city since December of 2001.
Flags are being flown at half-staff at city buildings in memory of Sturdwick.
