Vandalism, Shooting Incident Reported At Word of God Church

Columbia, SC (WOLO)– Richland County Sheriff’s Department is asking for help after unknown suspects fired multiple shots at the doors of Word of God Church.

The incident happened at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday off of Garners Ferry Road.

Lt. Curtis Wilson with RCSD said the suspects placed multiple targets on the doors at the rear of the church, before firing numerous times. The doors lead to a storage closet of the church, and no one was in the building at the time of the incident.
