Charges against USC basketball player dropped

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)–Charges against  USC Basketball player Rakym Felder have been dropped.

Columbia Police Department Spokesperson Jennifer Timmons says the decision was made by the city’s prosecutor.

Felder was arrested in June after he was accused of spitting on a woman sparking a brawl in Five Points.

Felder was suspended from the team at the time, no word yet if or when that suspension will be lifted.
