Blythewood stuns undefeated Irmo, 21-7

BLYTHEWOOD, S.C. (WOLO) — In front of their home crowd Thursday night, the Blythewood Bengals, losers of two of their last three games, beat undefeated Irmo, 21-7.

All 21 points came in the first half for the Bengals, who led 21-0 at the half.

The Bengals capitalized on two Yellowjacket turnovers in the first half and ran a punt back for a touchdown to seal the win.

Blythewood (3-2) now moves to the top of the 5A standings.
