Teen Injured in Gas Station Shooting

RICHLAND COUNTY, SC (WOLO)- Deputies are investigating a gas station shooting that sent a teen to the hospital Saturday night.

The incident happened just before 11pm in the 7600 block of Garners Ferry Road. Deputies say gunfire was exchanged in a CITGO gas station parking lot, and one of the bullets struck a 15-year-old male in the upper body.

Deputies found the teen in a car off Bluff road. The body of the car had bullet holes, and inside they found shell casings. The vehicle has been detained. The teen was taken to the hospital by EMS.

Officials say the teen is in stable condition.
