RCSD Takes on Hot Cops Challenge

Richland Co., S.C. (WOLO)– After pictures of the Gainseville, Florida Police Department officers went viral, law enforcement agencies across the country began showing off their personnel in the Hot Cops Challenge.

Monday the Richland Co. Sheriff’s Department released a photo featuring some of its female deputies.

Sheriff Leon Lott says that the deputies represent the department where it is our mission, as trusted public servants, to prevent crime and the fear of crime by providing excellence in law enforcement services, accountability, and connections with our communities.

The Sheriff also added that the women represent the thousands of men and women in blue all across the world who proudly serve and protect their communities every day.
