COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Columbia-based non-profit Heroes in Blue will host A Knight of Honor later this month to raise money for its mission of bridging the gap between law enforcement and community members.

The gala, happening at the Forest Lake Country Club on Saturday, September 29, will feature Medieval-themed fare and actual knights. Tickets are $100 for one person, or $150 for a couple.

During the event, two individuals will be recognized for their efforts in community policing.

Good Morning Columbia’s Grace Joyal spoke with Heroes in Blue founder, Kassy Alia, about how this event supports the organization’s mission throughout the year.
