Volvo Increases Berkeley Co. Investment

Berkeley Co., S.C. (WOLO)–Volvo is driving up its investment in the Low Country.
Monday morning the Swedish automaker announced an additional $520 MILLION investment in its Berkeley County facility.
The move will bring an additional 1910 jobs.
That brings the total investment to more than $1 billion.
When it is completed the Volvo facility will be the production hub for the new S-60 sedan and the XC 90.
