Columbia conference encourages “Women’s Empowerment”

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – A conference coming to Columbia this weekend encourages women to embrace their best self.

“Women’s Empowerment” brings speakers, vendors and community members together to celebrate femininity.

The annual event, being held Saturday at the Columbia Metropolitan Conference Center, is a collaboration between the City of Columbia and The Big DM.

Grace Joyal sat down with The Big DM host, DeeDee Renee, to discuss what kinds of challenges modern women in the Midlands face.
