Suspect wanted for forcing Midlands McDonald’s employees into freezer after armed robbery

LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO) –

The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department is on the hunt for a suspect, caught on camera, robbing a Midlands McDonald’s at gunpoint and then forcing three employees into the freezer.

Deputies say it happened at the McDonald’s on Highway 6 near Interstate 20 last Sunday night, September 24. The suspect, seen wearing a Minnesota Twins baseball cap, leads one employee to the counter and then takes money out of the cash register.

The video then shows the man forcing two employees in the restaurant and a third employee who walked in on the crime into the freezer before he leaves the scene.
