CLEMSON, S.C. (WOLO) — Clemson has used the same offensive philosophy for a decade now: use the run to set up the pass.

This season is no different, except there’s one Tiger shining above the rest.

Running back Travis Etienne, a freshman, ran for over 100 yards and two scores last Saturday against Boston College. He’s now rushed for four touchdowns this season, averaging 36.3 yards per rush on those scores (second-most in the FBS).

“He just runs like every play is the game-winning play,” said Dabo Swinney. “He just has that mindset and we love that.”

Second-ranked Clemson now gets twelfth-ranked Virginia Tech Saturday night in Blacksburg, Virginia. You can see that on ABC Columbia Saturday at 8 p.m.
