Sumter Shooting Suspect Identified

Sumter, SC. (WOLO) —- The Sumter Police Department have identified a suspect accused of taking police on a car chase, before fleeing on foot.

Authorities are now requesting SLED investigate the officer involved shooting.

Officials say during the foot chase police opened fire on 35 year old Christopher Cummings accused of armed robbery.
