Busiest Travel Day

Columbia, SC (WOLO) —Pack your patience folks, because today, Thursday, is expected to be one of the busiest travel days of the holiday season.

According to TripAdvisor’s annual holiday travel survey, nine percent of Americans are hitting the road today.

In fact, Christmas travel is up six percent from last year, with a total of 45 percent of Americans going home for the Holiday.

Airports are expected to be busy as well, with more people –reportedly — choosing to fly this year.
