If you haven’t already, get festive this holiday season. Join The Flying Saucer all day Saturday for it’s ‘Festivus’ event. They’ll be tapping special holiday brews all day and serving all red foods too. Live Christmas tunes will begin at 8:00p.m. tomorrow, as many gather around the Festivus pole and prepare for the feats of strength and the airing of the grievances. The Flying Saucer will be open Christmas Eve and Christmas day as well.

Experience the Midlands come alive in a blaze of more than a million sparkling lights. Take a journey through Saluda Shoals Park with over 400 animation light displays of all shapes and sizes this holiday season. Fun-filled activities will be offered every night during ‘Lights on the River’ like hayrides, train rides, a laser show, craft making and marshmallow toasting. The lights will stay bright until December 31.

Whether you’ve been naughty or nice, get down with a little sugar and spice. Edventure’s Children’s Museum is hosting it’s final ‘Gingerbread Jamboree’ this weekend. The jamboree features special holiday events like visits with Mr. and Mrs. Claus, mini gingerbread house decorating, the festival of sharing, and holiday arts and crafts. This is all happening Saturday and Sunday from 9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m.
