Open Mic Night:  Great ready to channel your inner comedian.
Monday night starting at 8-30 the New Brookland Tavern is hosting Soda City Stand Up Presents.
The event is open mic style and spots are on a first come first serve basis until spaces are filled up.

The event is free for everyone over the age of 21 and five bucks for those under 21.

New Year, New Members: Need more animal lovers in your life? The South Carolina Wildlife Federation has you covered.  Monday night, the Federation is hosting its New Year, New members event at Goat’s on Devine Street. Speakers will share the details on the Federation’s big plans for their upcoming year. Appetizers will be provided, and the bar will have happy hour specials available.

Columbia Art Museum Free Admission: In honor of Martin King Day, The Columbia Museum of Art is giving away free admission.

Today from 11 in the morning to five, you can see exhibit focused on positivity, empowerment, life, love, and hardship.

Today is also the first day of bridge refrain, a short film exploring a woman’s story after she fell victim to gun violence. And, if that’s not enough, everything in the gift shop is being offered at 25 percent off.
