Government Shutdown Day 3
Washington, DC (WOLO) — We are now entering day three of the Government shutdown, and both parties will have to work together to find a solution.
Senators will vote on re-opening the Government today at noon after pushing back the vote, which was originally scheduled for Monday morning.
Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has pledged to focus on the expiring deferred action for childhood arrivals program…or DACA.
It’s yet to be seen if that will give the Republicans enough support, as they need 60 votes to reopen.
McConnell now does have the support of South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham, who voted against reopening Saturday night.
