Celebrate Black History Month with Richland Library
RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – The month of February is devoted to celebrating the achievements of African Americans across all mediums, from politics to sports.
In honor of Black History Month, Richland Library is hosting almost two dozen programs, from discussions with authors, to musical performances and film discussions.
Here’s a sampling of the events taking place across library locations:
- February 1 – Film Screening: Tell Them We Are Rising
- February 3 – Stories with Dinah Johnson
- February 10 – Meet the Author: Kimberla Lawson Roby
- February 15 – Coloring the Conservation Conversation
- February 17 – February Busker
