Lexington Co., S.C. (WOLO)–Deputies with the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department say Michael Jerew from the Amtrak Raleigh office is now briefing the passengers of the Amtrak crash who are at the reception site.
Deputies say officials are working to clear the train of all luggage and belongings and get those items to the rightful owners.
Deputies tweeted that passengers are being given alternate transportation if they haven’t made their own plans, according to Jerew.
Four buses will be available to take passengers of the Amtrak crash to their intended destinations if they are healthy enough for travel.
