Columbia S.C. –  The South Carolina Gamecock’s are traveling to Tuscaloosa, AL tomorrow to take on the Crimson Tide, continuing their three-game week, tip-off is set for 7 p.m. at Coleman Coliseum. With only six regular season games left, the Gamecock’s are looking to secure a spot as one of the top four seeds in the SEC tournament.

The Gamecock’s are coming out of a rough two game loss streak, falling to the nation’s No.1 UConn and No.2 Mississippi State this past week. South Carolina is looking to come out on top, as they have not lost three consecutive games since January 2012. With Dawn Staley as head coach, the Gamecock’s have gone undefeated in the last 13 meetings with Alabama, and lead 23-15 all-time in the series.

Based on raw numbers, Senior A’ja Wilson proves to be having the best season of her career as a Gamecock. Wilson, who is a contender for National player of the year, is currently the only player whose scoring, rebounding and blocks averages are all among the top 20 in the nation. Freshmen guard Bianca Jackson is also proving to be essential to the Gamecock’s offense. Jackson has had two double-digit scoring games in her last five outings, and shot 43.2 percent overall, ranking second on her team averaging 10.8 points per game.
