Channing Tindall joins top-ranked Georgia recruiting class
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Spring Valley linebacker Channing Tindall said he needed to go to Georgia to sharpen his skills.
He’s not the only one.
On Wednesday’s National Signing Day, Tindall, a four-star prospect, gave his final commitment to Georgia, which brought in the nation’s top-ranked recruiting class.
“You see who they got today?” Tindall said, smiling. “You already know what’s going down in Athens.”
Tindall was down to Georgia, South Carolina and Auburn, but ultimately made the decision to go out of state.
“South Carolina has my heart, but I felt I had to leave to grow.”
The Gamecocks face the Bulldogs on September 8 at Williams-Brice Stadium.
