Gamecocks Nab 4 Star Defensive Lineman Rick Sandidge

Columbia S.C. – The Gamecocks upgraded their defensive line in a big way today with the commitment of 4 star defensive tackle Rick Sandidge.
The Concord, N.C. native was also considering offers from Georgia and UNC, althought Sandidge has reportedly been favoring USC for months now.
The 6’5, 288 lb prospect comes in as the highest graded player in the Gameock’s 2018 class.
247 Sports Composite Rankings lists Sandidge as the 141th best overall player in the nation, and the 14th best defensive tackle. He will join a 2018 Gamecock class that is currently ranked nineteenth overall.
