Clemson climbs to No. 11 in the AP Poll
CLEMSON, SC- The Clemson Tigers soar from No. 16 to No. 11 in week 15 of the AP Top 25 Poll after a 72-48 victory over Pittsburgh. Clemson ranks second in the ACC just behind Virginia, who now holds the No.1 spot in the AP Poll for the first time in more than 35 years.
With Clemson now sitting at No.11, the Tiger’s chances at a third seed in the NCAA tournament is becoming increasingly more likely.This is the closest the Tigers have been to NCAA tournament play since their last appearance in 2009.
The Tigers are on the road this week at Florida State where they are 2-5 under Coach Brownell and host No. 12 Duke on Sunday.
