Deputies search for attempted murder suspect

Richland Co., SC (WOLO) – Authorities have named a suspect in a drive by shooting from earlier this month.  Deputies are searching for Demetris Campbell, 27, accused of attempted murder. Authorities say on February 2nd at around 8 in the morning Campbell pulled up to the victim in the 2 hundred block of Devoe Street and opened fire after a verbal altercation.

Deputies say the Campbell was driving a newer model two door, white Hyundai or Honda with paper tags.

The victim suffered gunshot wounds to his lower body and was transported to an area hospital. According to authorities the victim is still recovering from his injuries.
