Man Arrested in Accidental Shooting

Sumter, SC (WOLO) — Sumter Deputies say a Sumter man accidentally shot and killed his friend over the weekend.

Investigators say Sunday night Rashid Spain, Carter Johnson, and another man were handling a rifle when authorities say Spain accidentally fired the weapon killing Johnson.

Deputies say Spain is charged with involuntary manslaughter.
