COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — After just two runs off four hits in USC’s 4-2 loss to Charleston Southern Sunday, first-year head coach Mark Kingston is, obviously, expecting more from his bats.
“You would think that if you go into a Sunday and you give up four, your chances of winning should be very good,” Kingston said after the series-finale loss.
USC batted just .125 with five strikeouts and left seven stranded in the loss.
Kingston wants more productivity going into Tuesday night’s midweek game against Furman.
