Man Accused of Shooting People from Yard Charged with Attempted Murder

Lexington, SC (WOLO) — The Lexington Sheriff’s Department has arrested 25 year old Justin Losoya of Cayce for firing a gun multiple times at a group of people along Lookout Pointe Road. According to witnesses, gunshots were heard from the back of the home. Investigators say when a witness asked the shooter to stop firing his weapon, they claim he shined a flashlight on the group and fired another round just missing them.

Authorities say the incident took place February 24th when Deputies claim he also shot into the bedroom wall of a nearby home during the gunfire. Losoya faces multiple charges including three counts of attempted murder, having possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Losoya is being held at the Lexington County Detention Center.
