CPD investigate stabbing in Northeast Columbia

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO) – Update: Columbia Police Department says a female has been arrested in connection with the deadly Prescott Manor stabbing. 23 year-old, Zhane Pride, has been charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Columbia Police Department say they are actively investigating a stabbing in Northeast Columbia on Wednesday afternoon (2/28).

According to officials, the stabbing occurred at 1601 Prescott Rd. (Prescott Manor).

Officials say a male victim was injured in the lower body inside an apartment this afternoon. He was taken to a local hospital, but officials say he was pronounced dead as a result of his injuries.

Investigators say they are currently speaking with a female who was initially detained.
