SC Flu Deaths Continue

Columbia, SC (WOLO) — The flu death toll continues to rise in South Carolina.

Today the Health Department announced 16 additional flu deaths bringing the total to 167 since October.

There are some signs of improvement however, DHEC says fewer flu cases were reported last week and the number of hospitalizations is down.

Flu season usually runs through May.
