Governor McMaster says no to sanctuary cities in SC

Columbia, SC (WOLO) — Right now there are no sanctuary cities in South Carolina and Governor Henry McMaster wants to keep it that way.

Thursday morning the Governor announced support for legislation that would deny state funds for communities that do not enforce illegal immigration laws, also known as sanctuary cities.

McMaster says the measure shows South Carolina stands by the rule of law.
