Former SC Governor in North Korea on UN visit

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) – A former South Carolina governor is in North Korea.

David Beasley is the executive director of the UN World Food Program.

He’s in the country for a four day visit.

Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley recommended the fellow former governor for the post.
