Coroner identifies victim in deadly Lexington shooting

Lexington, S.C. (WOLO) – Lexington County Coroner has identified the victim of a shooting yesterday in the 600 block of Woodtail Dr.

46-year-old Norman Cherry, Jr. suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the upper body and was pronounced dead at the scene, Fisher said.

There are currently no suspects or arrests. The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department is still investigating the shooting.

#UPDATE: Call of shots fired at a residence in the 600 block of Woodtrail Dr came in around 4:00.
