Samuel, Gamecocks ready for star playmaker’s return

ATLANTA, GA (WOLO) — Will Muschamp and the Gamecocks were the last of 14 schools to speak at SEC Media days in Atlanta Thursday, capping the four-day media frenzy in the heart of Georgia.

But there wasn’t a better or bigger story than USC wideout Deebo Samuel’s upcoming return to football.

The senior playmaker only played two full games before breaking his leg against Kentucky in week three. That came after Samuel scored six touchdowns through his first two and a half games.

Now that 2017 is officially behind Samuel, he and the Gamecocks share the inspirational story about his return.
