ABC Columbia goes one-on-one with former Yankees great Bobby Richardson

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — On Thursday night at Spirit Communications Park, former Yankees great and Gamecock baseball head coach Bobby Richardson watched as Sumter and Florence competed in the American Legion Baseball Tournament. He was nice enough to talk with ABC Columbia about a few different topics including the state of baseball, how he nearly didn’t play the sport, the Yankees-Red Sox rivalry and new USC head coach Mark Kingston’s performance in year one.
